Here is a huge development opportunity to join the programming team at The Hits. If you want to be a Content Director, this is the role to sink your teeth into – many current CDs have sat in this chair.
You will be responsible for scheduling music logs, managing our music research, helping to decide our playlist, and maintaining Nexgen clocks.
You’ll work closely with the Content Director and General Manager on developing and implementing the network strategy and provide content support to both our network shows and local announcers in every corner of NZ.
As a key member of the Hits product team, you will also work with the Promotions Director and audio/on-air producers to assist in imaging production and all studio processes.
You’ll understand radio and the day-to-day functioning of a network, including knowledge of broadcast playout systems (Nexgen & Powergold) and network programming technology – or be hungry to learn. A broadcasting or similar degree is preferable, and you'll bring at least 1+ years' experience in a radio programming role.
You will have infallible attention to detail and be a positive, collaborative team member.
